This is the guy responsible for all this madness. Back in October 2004, he had the crazy idea to host a mustache challenge and get as many guys as he could to grow a mustache for one month. People thought he was crazy. They accused him of being disgusting. They through razors at him in the street. Women were intrigued and then amused. That amusement turned to anger and resentment when they found out that some of their boyfriends would have a mustache for a month. That anger turned to repulsion for weeks. But then something weird happened. The repulsion weakened and the women found themselves hostage to the stache. They started to have feelings about it that they couldn't explain. The porn star they've always wanted had come home.... and the mustache had won this battle.

No one ever said it would be easy. In order to fully emancipate the mustache and encourage its revival today--we must commit our upper lips to the mustache for at least one month at a time. This commitment will inspire and encourage the masses, especially those men under 30 that have never actually attempted this badge of manhood. Whatever difficulty and discrimination the month brings--will soon dissipate, and be replaced with a pride and joy that can only be described as...Glorius.
