What is The Glorius Mustache Challenge?
The Glorius Mustache Challenge is a hysterical 70-minute documentary based on a social experiment designed to revive the under 30 mustache trend. Jay Della Valle challenges guys to grow a mustache for one month and chronicles the consequences of this humorously controversial male accessory.

Where can I see the Glorius Mustache Challenge?
Right now, the film is actively shopping for distribution. New screening dates will be announced this month in various cities throughout the US. Sign our mailing list so we can let you know where and when you can see it.

Who is Jay Della Valle?
Jay Della Valle is a filmmaker, actor, singer, and songwriter from the glorious garden state of New Jersey. This is the first film he has directed. You can hear 'Della Valle' music by visiting dellavallemusic.com, or download it on iTunes by clicking here.

Was that you I saw on... ?
Yes. It was.

What are the rules of the mustache challenge?
The rules are simple: no women allowed. I think I speak for most people when I say that we just want men to grow mustaches. The mustache challenge lasts for one month. During that month, no other forms of facial hair can be connected to the lone mustache. No beards, no goatees, no scruffs, no flavor savors; just the lone mustache! We welcome various styles of stache, but prefer the 'lip to the lip.' Enjoy the ride.

Did you know that you spelled "Glorius" wrong?
Of course we know!! Actually, "Glorius" was originally supposed to be the first name of the main character in a film about a guy who brings the mustache back. The concept evolved into a documentary and "glorius" stayed with the spelling. We know it's wrong and we know it bothers some people. We contemplated changing it to the right way, but we are too stubborn to give in - wouldn't it be like we were admitting we accidentally spelled it wrong from the beginning? Email us your thoughts; should we spell it right and conform?

Where can I get advice on growing a mustache?
There are various links on our links page to websites that will guide you on your journey through mustachedom. You can always email us if you need guidance. We are happy to help.

Will Glorius Mustache come to my school and speak to kids about growing mustaches?
Glorius is available for show-and-tell, mustache motivational seminars, childrens' birthday parties, sorority/fraternity/college events, bachelorette parties, and 70's porno conferences.

Do women like the under 30 mustache?
You're gonna have to watch the movie to find that one out, but I will say this... do women under 30 ever know what they like?

We have an annual mustache growing contest. Can Glorius Mustache attend and screen the film for all of our challengers?
Date, time, and place. If you grow it, we will come. We provide fake mustaches for the unfortunate.

Why does it just focus on men under 30?
Although we appreciate all mustaches and the men of all ages that grow them, we had to focus specifically on some angle in which to tell our tale. These are the experiences of men who are new to the mustache; men whose efforts would generate the most confusion, animosity, and response within today's social climate.

What is the objective of this project?
Our objective is to encourage men to try growing a mustache. We don't know how you'll look, and honestly, neither do you. A mustache is something that takes commitment. Unless you commit your upper lip for at least a month, you really don't know whether or not you can pull it off and whether or not it looks good. If it doesn't do you justice, at least you know and you've tried it. If it does, welcome to our world and welcome the mustache to your facial wardrobe. We know it sounds ludicrous, but the experience itself is strangely rewarding in ways you can't imagine.

I can't grow a mustache. Where can I get a really good fake?
You can buy them off our website!!

Is it too late to get involved?
Well, it is too late to get involved in the film. However, it is never too late to get involved in the Glorius Mustache Challenge. Every year we celebrate the mustache from November 1 to December 1. In fact, our "2006 Glorius Mustache Challenge" will help raise money for charity. You will be able to upload your pre and post pictures to our website and be a part of our growing business. We have annual contests, events, and mustache networking opportunities. Rock it.
